Sugar, sugar

I was a big fan of Stewart Cink last week at the Players Championship and while he never contended for the title he was a respectable 21st with four steady rounds.
This week he's in his home town of Duluth, Georgia, for the AT&T Classic at the Sugarloaf course and I reckon he'll be back to the form that delivered him a string of top-10s in recent weeks.
He won't be at long odds though and if you're looking for some value have a look at Dean Wilson. The no-fuss Hawaiian has finished 12th and 10th in his last two starts at two difficult courses: Wachovia and Players Championships.
He generally plays better on tougher courses and while Sugarloaf isn't really difficult his form is too good to ignore.
Another who might be at reasonable odds is Camilo Villegas; the mullet-haired, muscular Colombian who was third here last year.
He's going to win a tournament in the next year or so and this may be his best chance.
Among the others I like is Kenny Perry. He hasn't won for a while thanks to injury but he's starting to get back to his best form.
He was in the hunt at the Players Championship for a long time until his last round 81 but he's got the kind of laidback temperament to bounce back from that.
Finally, you can't rule out Zach Johnson here. The former Masters winner has twice won at Sugarloaf and was runner-up in between. No doubt he'll be in the thick of it again.
In Europe, Irish golfers have been dominant this season with Damien McGrane, Darren Clarke, Graeme McDowell and Paul Lawrie winning tournaments this season.
They'll all be trying to win the Irish Open this week and all are good enough to contend.but it's their better known countryman Padraig Harrington who will be trying to defend his title.
Challengers are likely to be last year's runner up Brad Dredge of Wales, who has been ultra-consistent in recent weeks, Englishman Lee Westwood who is in his best form for many years and Robert Karlsson, who is primed to build on the third place he scored last week.
But if anyone deserves to win it's Englishman Oliver Wilson, whose last four starts have returned two seconds, and eighth and an 11th -- that's the best form of anyone in the field and he's my pick.
In summary
PGA: Dean Wilson, Stewart Cink, Zach Johnson, Camillo Villegas, Kenny Perry
Europe: Oliver Wilson, Robert Karlsson, Lee Westwood, Padraig Harrington, Bradley Dredge.
